Streaming can be an important part in showing interest in an artist and aid in their income through royalties.

WHY
What are the benefits
Streaming of contents on official channel & streaming platforms will generate funds for the company and therefore stability as well as funding for future projects (more content, better marketing, more exposure)
Better numbers on Rocky's content will show the company the interest fans have and may result in more contents and opportunities given to him
Streaming earns artists money in the form of royalties, as well as counts towards points for awards on music shows within promotion time
Proper streaming will increase revenue for artists and show their popularity.
Practicing streaming now is helpful for any future comeback or project

The biggest impact of Korean music streaming services is to count towards Korean charts which affect digital scores on music shows. These streaming services also pay royalties to artists, comparatively lower as international platforms.How to stream on Korean music providers:
GENIE
Genie is 2nd the biggest digital music retailer in Korea, therefore takes the 2nd most percentages on Korean music show scores
All streams are counted once an hour
Don't skip or pause, Volume at least 50%

Melon
Melon is the biggest digital music retailer in Korea, therefore takes the most percentages on Korean music show scores
Must have a verified melon account which involves confirmation of a Korean phone number
All downloads and streams are counted once an hour, so it makes sense to stream a couple of songs along with the targeted one
Volume at least 50%

APPLE MUSIC
Monetization: As of 2019, Apple Music pays copyright holders of the master recordings 0.0056USD per stream, though the per-stream pay out highly depends on the type of streams the artist gets. (1000 streams is on average 5.60USD)
Try streaming the songs using a playlist by adding the songs multiple times, and make sure you add a few other songs from the same/different artist
While streaming, do not mute, they won’t count towards streaming, try using headphones
To increase streams, try streaming from as many accounts and devices as possible, like your phone and your computer
Make sure you listen to a song for at LEAST 30 seconds. Spotify and Apple Music count streams towards a song when the song has been played for a minimum of 30 seconds–so try and listen for that amount of time before skipping to a different track.

you can use open spotify (free w/ads) on most browsers (with a VPN if it is not available in your country)
tab can be muted if desired while the stream is running
streams from premium accounts are more valuable for generating revenue, especially when streaming via app
use playlists that the streaming services have made such 'This Is ASTRO' on Spotify to stream the songs as well

Monetization?
As of 2019, Spotify pays copyright holders of the master recordings 0.00318USD per stream, though the per-stream pay out highly depends on the type of streams the artist gets. (1000 streams is on average 3.18USD) Spotify counts every stream (both from paid users and free users) as long as the song is not on repeat.
SOUNDCLOUD
What counts as a stream?
A “Play” is counted when the play button is clicked. If a listener is logged into their account, plays are tracked in real-time. If not logged in, plays will be updated within 24 hours.
Monetization?
Assuming Fantagio made Rocky’s Soundcloud account eligible for monetization, he can make 55% of the profit from his streams. If Rocky has a Soundcloud premier account, he can make 100% profit from sale of tracks. My assumption is that he is currently making the former 55% of profits.

To prevent views getting subtracted we encourage everyone to stream like a normal viewer would do. If it's possible in your routine to stream manually please use this technique the most.
DO'S:
Log into your account
Search the video manually
Watch video without pausing or skipping (50% volume& 480p at least) - (you can mute your device or use headphones)
Stay on the tab, don't change windows
Leave positive comments
Watch 2-3 other unrelated videos before returning
(we recommend JinJin's "Like A King", MJ's "Annyeong" Cover, Astro's KNOCK MV or other YYY Contents)
If possible switch to other accounts
DONTs:
do not loop or refresh
do not clear your history
do not skip, pause, forward the video
do not skip the ads (if its a long ad, skip after 30 sec)

Do playlists work?
We encourage to only use playlist when it's not possible to actively stream (running errands, working). Playlist should be supplemental to manual streaming.
Does the embedded technique work?
Yes, but like with playlist it should not be used excessively as it could be considered bot like behavior if too many views come from that.
